Business Continuity Management
Business Continuity Management is a process that leads to a more secure organization. Experts can, at the highest level within the organization, map potential calamities, develop scenarios to cope with these calamities. They define the actions to be taken to reduce the impact of calamities to a minimum and to periodically test the operation and effectiveness of these measures based on current circumstances.

Scenarios
Within QOL|BCM, all potential calamities, that require a risk reduction scenario, are captured. All measures to reduce the impact of calamities can be bundled in one overview, after which measures can be selected by risk area. Also test scenarios, which give meaning to the periodic assessment of effectiveness of management, can also be included in a single overview for reuse.
Action monitoring
For each process step, an action plan can be developed. Each action is defined within an action template, in which a standard approach can be defined. The action title and action description are defined, even those who are responsible for carrying out the action. Also, the timely implementation of the action is monitored by QOL|BCM.
Test plans
Once a planning component, including the associated actions, is defined, the plan can be executed during a test. The unit or department, that is responsible for the realization of the plan, carries out a test. Test results can be verified by the Business Continuity team that determines the effectiveness of actions. Test results are saved as reference material and to demonstrate the execution of the test scenarios.
Review and authorization
Quality Online's review and authorization functionality can be used during the planning, implementation and testing process. Authorizations for actions, prior to the implementation and review of actions, are examples.
