Put digital guardrails around exploiting opportunities and avoiding risks
The Financial Times recently published a study on the perception of risk in different sectors. It turned out that there are different approaches. The Dutch industry focuses primarily on market opportunities: growth and management of typical business risks such as acquisitions, new markets, default, dependence on certain customers and attract good staff.
In other sectors, such as the financial world, there is much more attention to the impact of the growing regulatory and reputation damage. In these sectors, the most serious thought is seeking new markets with the existing crew, rather than to expand and grow and to attract new talent. In all sectors, people agree that the business opportunities lie primarily in emerging markets. But completing that opportunity is quickly associated with the increased risk, with the result that new initiatives are nipped in the bud.
Centralized process management
Yet there is one common denominator under which all sectors can do business safely in the coming years, and which enables growth and development to appear back on the corporate agenda and to experience it that way. That common denominator is centralized process management. By this we mean setting up a unified corporate structure in which a large number of activities can be done effectively, efficiently and safely, because a digital guardrail is placed around this. The result is: safe international pricing, a safe acquisition strategy or for example a safe and effective global Corporate Governance approach.
An Enterprise Process Management Platform
This approach is made possible with the Enterprise Process Management Platform Quality Online. Herein, organizations can enrich BPM models and make them operational. This includes one uniform approach to set up all processes in a uniform manner, and to standardize its implementation.
SafeGuardOne, the new Safety and Quality system of Quality Online is based on this principle. It supports a company’s security policy, that is incorporated anywhere in the world in well-defined standards. Because a fire in China looks just like a fire in the Netherlands, so why not standardize these prevention measures (step 1) and localize them (step 2) for the Chinese situation? This works a lot better and more efficient than in China and other locations in the world do not have to invent the wheel all over again, such as the fire prevention process!
Valuable within each industry
Standardization of litigation adds great value to all sectors and will lead to a massive cost reduction and increasing participation of employees in the company policy.
Do you want to know more about the approach of Quality Online and how a digital guardrail works in practice? And do you also want to be informed about the fact that a digital guardrail makes people more creative and enterprising, rather than constricting their capabilities?
